Every business we onboard asks the same thing in the first week: "can I see X?" — where X is some cut of the data that no standard report quite covers. Which customer slipped from monthly to quarterly. What is sitting in stock past its best window. Which supplier's costs moved this quarter.
From today you can just ask.
How it works
Open the assistant from the icon in the header on any screen. Type the question the way you would ask a colleague:
- "Top 10 customers by sales value this financial year"
- "Which lots expire in the next 60 days?"
- "Purchase orders still awaiting approval, oldest first"
The answer streams back as a table you can read immediately, along with the figures it was drawn from. Ask a follow-up and it keeps the thread.
What it will and will not do
It reads. It never writes. The assistant is only ever allowed to run read-only queries against your own data, so it cannot change an order, an invoice or a stock figure — and it cannot see any other business on the platform.
It also respects who is asking: the assistant answers within the same permissions your login already has. Someone without access to purchase costs does not get them through a question.
Numbers it gives you are the same numbers the reports give you — it is querying the same records, not a copy or a summary.
Try it with something you already know
The fastest way to trust it is to ask it something you can verify. Ask for last month's sales total, then open the P&L report and compare. Once the two agree, start asking the questions you could not run before.
